NISRA welcomes participants of all ages and ability levels. Preschoolers, children, teens, adults and senior adults can experience the benefits of involvement in recreation activities. Our programs have close staff-to-participant ratios to assist people with disabilities in achieving their greatest success. Many of our programs focus on skill development, promote socialization and foster independence. In keeping with the goals of each program, our #1 objective is to have fun!

NISRA Transportation
Transportation is offered for many NISRA programs. NISRA’s accessible buses provide community access for participants. Each program description in the brochure indicates whether transportation is available. Pick-up and drop-off points are scheduled at various locations within NISRA’s member communities. Limited door-to-door service may be available for in-district residents with physical limitations. Participants registering for programs with transportation should indicate their transportation choice on the registration form.
