Covid-19 update

NISRA is closing its office to the public beginning March 16 through 29, and programs are canceled…

In a continuing effort to minimize health risks to all participants, families, caregivers, staff and guests during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) state of emergency, NISRA continues to follow the guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the McHenry, Kane and Lake County health departments. This includes social distancing strategies outlined by health officials.
Following the lead of local school districts and park districts, NISRA is canceling all recreation programs and closing the office to the public effective Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 29.
The drop box outside of the front doors of the office is available. Staff will be checking it periodically throughout the business day, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Full time staff will be working during this time and will be available to you via phone and email. Please continue to contact us as needed.
