Due to the continuing presence of the coronavirus, NISRA is canceling the majority of the summer programs that were in the printed Summer brochure. Click here for the entire list of what’s canceled and what is still going. Those who registered and paid for summer programs will receive credits, or if requested, a refund.
We continue to monitor the Restore Illinois phases and are pleased to announce that we’ll be offering a new 5 week summer session that will begin on July 20. This session will include both virtual and a few in-person programs.
There is a new process to determine eligibility for in-person programs. Participants must be able to meet the health and safety requirements outlined on the Program Eligibility & Assessment Questionnaire. Click here to view the entire document and obtain the form. If the participant is interested in joining in-person programs and can comply with the eligibility standards, please complete and submit the Assessment Questionnaire as soon as possible. Staff will review it and contact you about eligibility to register for the programs that will be starting July 20.
If the participant cannot comply with the requirements at this time, there will be upcoming opportunities to re-assess as Restore Illinois progresses and the COVID-19 guidelines change.
Watch for the announcement during the last week of June about the upcoming July/August programs, brochure, and registration.
